So, you want to know how to sell digital products faster than you can say, Jack Robinson… Well, this is the blog for you then.
When it comes to selling digital products fast, there is good news and bad news. I’m going to break the bad news to you first.
There’s no way to just quickly sell digital products. Just like any other business, it does take time to build an audience that’s dying to receive your next product and have their credit card in hand ready for the purchase.
There is good news though. I’m going to provide some tips on how to fast track selling digital products. I’ll be honest, it’s going to take some serious work. Yet, if you can implement these 3 tips, you will be able to launch your product quickly and get sales coming in scorching HOT!
Tip 1: Build an Audience Quickly
Start building an audience as quickly as you can. The beauty of personal branding is you have the ability to talk about topics that YOU are passionate about. The more you are passionate about your topic, the more content you can provide. The more content you provide, the quicker you can build a strong following of people interested in the same topic because you will get more reach.
Some helpful ways to create an audience quickly:
- Upload regularly and be active on social media
- Keep your website up to date with new weekly blogs
- Have social media sharing buttons on your website
- Run paid ads
Tip 2: Build a Customer Avatar
Build your perfect customer Avatar. There is no greater pain than putting a lot of effort and energy into creating a digital product only for it to be a complete flop because it’s not what you audience wanted. When you create a digital product, keep in mind who your audience really is and how it’s going to serve/help them. You really need to know their pains, and the problem they are trying to solve. No problem equals sales.
Think of all the biggest brands you know. Nike, Apple, and Amazon. They ALL provide a solution to a specific problem you’re experiencing. Here’s a quick example.
Amazon can deliver items to its customers FAST and do it at a GREAT price.
The Problem: I want my item NOW and I want it CHEAP!
The Solution: Here’s the lowest price for the item you want. If you have Amazon Prime, we can have this item in front of your doorstep within 2 days at no extra charge.
That explanation has obviously been broken down into very layman’s term, but you get the point. This solution has made Jeff Bezos one of the richest people on earth. Granted Amazon obviously has solutions for many other problems, this was just an example.
Heck, even think of why you’re reading this blog post. You are reading this to find a solution (This blog shows you how to sell digital products fast!) to your problem (how do I sell digital products fast?).
This is the core of any business. Find a solution to your customers’ problem. Once that has been identified, your digital products will sell like hotcakes!
Tip 3: Start Using Affiliates
Learn to leverage affiliates. Usually, you will hear me talking about the other end of affiliate marketing. That’s the part where you are the affiliate for other people’s products. Let’s flip the table though.
If you can learn how to have other people become an affiliate for your product, you will multiply the number of sales you can make. Yes, you will have to split the profit but let me break this down to you with numbers.
Let’s say you’re selling a digital product for $50 and you have an email list of 1000 customers. After sending an email to your customers, 10% of your customers purchase your digital product. Congratulations! You have just made $5,000.
Now let’s look at the same scenario but include 3 affiliates that will sell your product as well. We will also cut your email list in half to 500 people and also split the profit of the product by 50%. That means each affiliate that makes a sales nets you $25 since they are keeping the other half.
First, you send out your email to your 500 users. At a 10% conversion rate, you will make $2,500. Now here’s the catch. Between all of the other affiliates, they have a combined email list of 10,000 members because they have been in your niche for a longer time. For simplicity let’s use the same 10% conversion rate.
When they send an email to their 10,000 customers, and 10% of those people purchase, that’s a gross profit of $50,000! Remember we agreed to split the profit 50/50 with the affiliates though. So that means you made $25,000 + the $2,500 from your email list. That’s a combined profit of $27,500!
The power of leveraging affiliates will only grow as you connect with more of them.
As mentioned, there is no way to quickly sell digital products. The good news is the faster you can execute on these 3 tips, the more digital products you’ll be able to sell.
